The Marketing Manager holds operational responsibility for one or two dedicated vertical pods and has in-depth knowledge of email marketing and paid media operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will manage a team of Campaign Specialists, Data Analysts, and Team Leads within an assigned pod. This role ensures rigorous day-to-day service delivery, SLA adherence, and operational excellence within the pod while working in close partnership with teams across APAC to ensure the execution of global business objectives and immediate goals.
Position Responsibilities
- Direct Reporting & Operational Alignment: Report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, serving as the operational point of contact for your vertical pod and ensuring direct alignment between strategic priorities and the daily execution of your team.
- Global Partnership: Work closely with APAC Marketing Leadership and respective APAC marketing teams to align on shared goals and deliverables that are required from both US/APAC teams.
- Manage Pod Team Members: Directly lead, develop, and coach a team of Team Leads, Campaign Specialists, and Data Analysts within the assigned pod. Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development plans, holding regular coaching and mentoring sessions to guide and elevate their daily performance.
- Day-to-Day SLA & Queue Management: Oversee incoming request queues, workflow allocation, and daily load balancing across the pod. Drive strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), turnaround times, and operational performance standards.
- Tactical Campaign Execution & Quality Assurance: Maintain hands-on involvement in campaign execution, QA validation, and troubleshooting within specific toolstacks (including tools like Marketo, Gamma, and GNP) across the full lifecycle of intake, production, and reporting.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Escalations: Act as the operational escalation point for the assigned pod. Deep dive into delivery defects and campaign errors to directly create Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and implement corrective remediation strategies, preventing recurrence and ensuring process consistency.
- Cross-Functional Scale & Quality: Collaborate with the Process Excellence and Tools and Automation teams to ensure that optimization projects are prioritized, process changes are seamlessly assimilated, and the pod is driving efficiency.
- Operational Governance & Metrics: Lead daily/weekly pod operations and contribute to Weekly and Quarterly Business Reviews (WBRs/QBRs), ensuring consistent tracking of SLA attainment, error rates, and team productivity.
